The last few months were quite busy, especially, because I study 2 postgraduate and 2 undergraduate courses and I had to prepare for the M381 exam (I was ill, in October). And yesterday, the course results were published! I gained 96% in the exam, hence I was able to finsih this course with Distinction.

Yes! I am allowed to write the M381 in April 2010. Today came the letter. I am so relieved!

My books from the OU contain a lot of those margin notes. Sometimes they refer to another Unit or give some extra information or tell the reader how to pronounce a greek letter or one of those German names. Like in my Number Theory book about Multiplicative functions, there it says: Euler is pronounced oiler. When I was reading this, I had to smile and chuckle to myself.

I have finished TMA 2 today. I really had to rack my brain over question 2 - the hints they gave confusedme totally and so I spent a lot of time for solving question 2. But still I've got 2 TMAs and 1 CMA in the pipeline which all three need to be sent at the latest on mid June.

Today I did nearly nothing for my studies, although strictly speaking also relaxing helps my studies. Since now after a day of doing nothing, sitting in the garden, enjoying the wheather I am very motivated to repeat a few of the exercises from NT3 and start with the TMA questions. :)
