Finally my material arrived, the last parcle arrived today. This time the delivery of the material (compared to the previous years) was fast ... it only took up to 17 days. Of course I rummaged in the box and having a look at the new materials!  Again I noticed that the format of the study calendar does no longer is A3, now it is at A4 paper and also the handbooks aren't shiny booklets, but normal paper booklets.

Of course those things are not really necessary, but it indicates that now European students have to pay for UK students, because the OU does no longer receive funding for a lot of UK students (ELQ decision). There was again a considerable increase in fees this year and the increase for European students was not less than the increase of UK students.

Last autumn, I asked Martin Bean, the new Vice Chancelor during a Elluminate session if this could happen and he denied.
